About Cotswolding
I’m Kelley—an American mum who traded the high desert of Bend, Oregon for the steep hills, stone walls, and occasional sheep traffic of Stroud. Most days you’ll find me navigating footpaths, learning local quirks, and figuring out life in the Cotswolds one small adventure at a time. I started this site to share the practical bits, the cultural curveballs, and the everyday moments that come with starting fresh in a new country—sometimes smoothly, sometimes with a laugh.
Cotswolding is my way of capturing what it feels like to live, wander, and occasionally get delightfully lost in this corner of England. It’s the mix of hillside living, village exploring, market browsing, and gentle adventuring that shapes our days here. This site follows our family’s experience of settling in—raising kids, discovering new routines, and learning how things work in a place where footpaths outnumber freeways.
Think of it as a friendly guide to life in the Cotswolds, told from the perspective of someone figuring it out in real time
Welcome to Cotswolding.
